The SEALANDER is a flexible mobile leisure vehicle that functions as a caravan on land and as a motor boat on water. On land it is towed by means of a car as a trailer and in the water it can be steered like a boat by means of an outboard motor. Due to its low weight the SEALANDER can be towed easily and environmentally friendly even by small towing vehicles. An additional trailer driver’s license is not required.
The hull is made of fiberglass reinforced plastic, which is seamlessly connected with a monocoque or outer shell. This makes the SEALANDER light-weight, extremely robust and stable both on water and land. The body is sealed with a Gelcoad layer for the highest surface quality. On land, the ladder provides a stable support for the hitch as well as a safe entryway. On the water, the ladder has several functions. It acts as a railing when raised up, it can be used to attach the on-board grill, or when folded down by moving out of the telescopic tube as a stable way to enter and exit the water.
All around, the SEALANDER is equipped with four seawater proof stainless steel handholds, which provide stable hold when entering and leaving the boat and serve for safe mooring on the water.
The chassis of the SEALANDER is fully galvanized, and the wheel scars are stored and encapsulated in oil for protection against water and salt. This makes the SEALANDER easy to launch along with the tires without any further conversions.
By the way: With its height of max. 192 cm, the SEALANDER also finds a suitable place in garages, carports and even in parking garages. A big advantage not only for trips into town.
For use on the water, the SEALANDER can be fitted with an outboard engine with 3 up to 6 HP on the stern. It can be driven without acquiring an additional boat driver’s license.
The tinted, panoramic windows on either side provide a luxurious way to take in nature as it passes by providing a new perspective on whatever view presents itself outside.
Its compact dimensions make the SEALANDER very agile, easy to handle and allows it to find a suitable place anywhere – on land as well as in the water.

The SEALANDER is an unbraked caravan with a gross vehicle weight of 750 kg and an unladen weight of between 530 and 600 kg, depending on the equipment. The specification of the technically permissible trailer load (unbraked) of your vehicle can be found in your vehicle documents under position O.2.
The SEALANDER has the constructional requirements for a 136 PS approval for trailers and can therefore be moved in road traffic at 136PS, taking into account the technical requirements of the towing vehicle.
DEKRA recommends as a rule of thumb that the permissible total weight of the trailer (750 kg) must be equal to or less than the unladen mass of the towing vehicle multiplied by a factor of 0.3.

No additional boat or trailer license is required.
Only the driving license class B is sufficient to use the SEALANDER in road traffic as well as in the permitted waters.
The SEALANDER can be quickly and easily launched and pulled ashore by one person. For this purpose, it is either driven directly to or from the water by car via a water ramp or a suitable access road, or it is roped down or pulled out over greater distances by means of a cable winch.
Depending on the exercise, the whole process takes max. 5-10 minutes. Great physical strength is not necessary for this, as the power is provided by the car or the winch. We will be happy to show you the best moves for a quick and relaxed process.

The SEALANDER is equipped with two opposite seating areas of 185 cm, which can comfortably seat up to 6 people on land. On the water, the payload is limited to 410 kg, which means that the permitted number of persons with luggage and engine must not exceed this value.
For overnight stays, the two seating areas can be converted in a few simple steps into a comfortable reclining area measuring 140 x 202 cm (with upholstery extension), which is perfectly suitable for 2 people, possibly also with small children.
The SEALANDER is ideally suited for overnight stays on the water. With our optional equipment Anchor & Marine Set you get all the necessary features for water use.
The SEALANDER can be equipped or moved with an internal combustion engine or an electric outboard motor.
Due to the design, we recommend a 5 HP motor with long shaft for ideal feed. Maximum engine mount of the SEALANDER may be equipped with an engine power of up to 10 hp and a maximum weight of up to 30 kg.
Since the SEALANDER is a displacement boat by design, the maximum hull speed is about 10 km/h (5 knots). Which can already be achieved with a 5 hp engine.

Structurally and technologically, the SEALANDER is different from other caravans – a boat and is made using processes and materials similar to those used in yacht construction. For example, the SEALANDER has a fully galvanized chassis with watertight wheel hubs as well as handrails and a swim ladder made of seawater-resistant stainless steel. Furthermore, e.g. Materials such as stainless DVA stainless steel, waterproof AW 100 glued laminated wood and GRP hand laminate are used.
Thus, the SEALANDER can also be used in salt water without hesitation.
For the longevity of the material, we recommend rinsing the SEALANDER with fresh water after use in salt water.
The SEALANDER is insured on land as an unbraked caravan under 750 kg and on water as a category D motorboat.

For us, spending time with the Sealander is simply a pleasure. Breathing in the relaxed atmosphere and being on the water and back on land so spontaneously and easily is truly an experience. We really enjoy being able to experience it where and when we feel like it and also spontaneously decide whether we wake up in the morning on the water or somewhere in a valley with a view of the mountains.
