SEALANDER is a unique swimming caravan — a caravan on land and a boat on water. It’s easily towed like a trailer and, once afloat, steers like a motorboat using an outboard engine.
Thanks to its low weight, the SEALANDER can be towed easily — even by small vehicles — and in an environmentally friendly way. No additional trailer license is required.
This construction makes the SEALANDER lightweight, highly robust, and stable — both on land and in water. The body is sealed with a high-quality Gelcoat layer for a smooth, durable surface.
SEALANDER is certified DEKRA for road, Lloyd’s for water. No trailer and water license in Germany. Please verify local laws for international use.
On land, the foredeck provides a stable support for the hitch as well as a safe entryway. On the water, the foredeck acts as a railing when raised up, it can be used to attach the on-board grill. And its telescopic ladder provides a stable way to enter and exit the water.
The SEALANDER has six seawater-proof stainless steel handholds all around. They offer a secure grip when getting on and off the boat and help with safe mooring and steering on the water
The SEALANDER’s galvanized chassis and oil-sealed wheels protect against water and salt, allowing easy launching without modifications.
With a maximum height of just 193 cm, the SEALANDER fits easily into garages, carports, and even parking structures. A big advantage not only for trips into the city.
For use on the water, the SEALANDER can be fitted with an outboard engine with up to 6 HP on the stern. It can be driven in Germany without acquiring an additional boat driver’s license. Please verify local laws for international use.

The SEALANDER comes with all the technical features for a self-sufficient stay. Colors and materials can also be customized to your preference.
Inside the SEALANDER, two benches and an adjustable table seat six. Quickly, the area transforms into a roomy place to relax.
Its narrow width means no extra mirrors are needed when towing the SEALANDER.
To launch the SEALANDER, back down a boat ramp with the roof and door open. Attach and raise the outboard motor on the stern — then you’re ready for the water.
STEP 1
Attach a safety rope to the SEALANDER, disconnect it from the towing vehicle, and carefully roll it into the water. No extra setup needed — just launch and go.
STEP 2
Once in the water, lower the outboard motor and start it to begin your boat ride.
STEP 3
To prepare the SEALANDER to enter water, drive backwards with a towing vehicle down a boat ramp, with the door and roof open. After, fasten the outboard motor in its raised position on the stern. Then the outboard motor is attached to the engine transom of the stern and raised.
STEP 1
Disconnect the SEALANDER from the towing vehicle and tie a rope to it for safety. Then uncouple and roll it easily into the water. The SEALANDER can already be uncoupled and launched.
STEP 2
Once in the water, the outboard motor can be lowered down into the water and started up to begin the boat ride.

The SEALANDER base vehicle is your entry into a whole new dimension of flexible and independent leisure activities.
In the basic version, you receive an approved leisure vehicle that can be used both as an unbraked transporter under 750 kg and as a category D motorboat. The basic vehicle contains everything required to meet the approval criteria for these applications (TÜV/CE). .
All components and materials used are suitable for use on land and water, tested and in some cases specially developed for SEALANDER.

The Sealander has been my second home for a few years now. Traveling with the Sealander, whether on the water or on land, simply never gets boring. Being on the road beyond the touring mainstream is the greatest thing for me as a blogger and I love doing that with my girlfriend and friends.
It simply tastes best on the water: for dinner we often serve freshly caught fish in a very romantic lighting. We are then especially addicted to the charms of the sea lander and feel like adventures and little captains.
For us, spending time with the Sealander is simply a pleasure. Breathing in the relaxed atmosphere and being on the water and back on land so spontaneously and easily is truly an experience. We really enjoy being able to experience it where and when we feel like it and also spontaneously decide whether we wake up in the morning on the water or somewhere in a valley with a view of the mountains.

The SEALANDER is an unbraked caravan with a gross vehicle weight of 750 kg and an unladen weight of between 530 and 600 kg, depending on the equipment. The specification of the technically permissible trailer load (unbraked) of your vehicle can be found in your vehicle documents under position O.2.
SEALANDER is constructed in accordance with structural standards for trailers. This allows it to be towed by any towing vehicle that complies with local trailer-towing regulations

No additional boat or trailer license is required.
Only the driving license class B is sufficient to use the SEALANDER in road traffic as well as in the permitted waters.
The SEALANDER can be quickly and easily launched or pulled ashore by a single person. It can be driven directly into or out of the water via a boat ramp or suitable access road, or pulled over longer distances using a cable winch.
The entire process usually takes only 5–10 minutes and requires minimal physical effort, as the towing vehicle or winch provides the power. We’re happy to guide you through the best techniques for a smooth and relaxed launch.

The SEALANDER is equipped with two opposite seating areas of 185 cm, which can comfortably seat up to 6 people on land. On the water, the Maximum Load is limited to 410 kg, which means that the permitted number of persons with luggage, Provisions and Cargo, Fuel in Built-in and Portable Tanks (or all engine’s batteries), Potable Water in and Portable Tanks must not exceed this value.
For overnight stays, these seating areas can be easily converted into a cozy reclining bed measuring 151 x 205 cm (with upholstery extension), ideal for 2 adults and possibly small children.
The SEALANDER is ideally suited for overnight stays on the water. With our optional equipment Anchor & Marine Set you get all the necessary features for water use.
The SEALANDER can be equipped or moved with an internal combustion engine or an electric outboard motor.
Due to the design, we recommend a 5 HP motor with long shaft for ideal feed. Maximum engine mount of the SEALANDER may be equipped with an engine power of up to 10 hp and a maximum weight of up to 30 kg.
Since the SEALANDER is a displacement boat by design, the maximum hull speed is about 10 km/h (5 knots). Which can already be achieved with a 5 hp engine.

Structurally and technologically, the SEALANDER is different from other caravans – a boat and is made using processes and materials similar to those used in yacht construction. For example, the SEALANDER has a fully galvanized chassis with watertight wheel hubs as well as handrails and a swim ladder made of seawater-resistant stainless steel. Furthermore, e.g. Materials such as stainless DVA stainless steel, waterproof AW 100 glued laminated wood and GRP hand laminate are used.
Thus, the SEALANDER can also be used in salt water without hesitation.
For the longevity of the material, we recommend rinsing the SEALANDER with fresh water after use in salt water.
The SEALANDER is insured on land as an unbraked caravan under 750 kg and on water as a category D motorboat.
Accordingly, most insurance companies offer a combination insurance policy for our hybrid, each of which includes liability, partial cover or fully comprehensive insurance, depending on the insurance package.
For the transformation from caravan to boat, all you need is a slipway where you can lower the SEALANDER into the water. A paved slipway is recommended, as the SEALANDER, unlike other boats, has to be rolled or guided into the water together with the undercarriage, and a firm surface simplifies the process.
